Brownfield Antique Teapot Clam 'Seashell'

This is another very rare example of William Brownfield's (Cobridge Staffs.) porcelain: teapot, in lustre glaze with gilded embellishment: in the form of a clam- shellfish. Date circa 1883.

Note there is a very small chip to one edge of the lid virtually invisible (perhaps a mm dia.)
