Majolica Isle of Man Sailor Antique Teapot
This is from a group of majolica three legged man teapots produced exclusively for retailers in the Isle of Man during the latter part of the 19th century.
The clever adaptation is in the form of a sailor sitting on a coil of rope which also forms the handle, one of the legs becomes the spout, and the head is the lid.
There are various colours and versions of the pot.
