Cadugan Antique puzzle-teapot in Rockingham glaze
This is an adaptation of a 17th century Chinese wine pot cleverly remodelled as a teapot'
The pot was produced by Copeland first half 19th century and is in good order.
The puzzle pot was, and is, that you cannot deduced how the liquid got into the pot in the first place: the answer is that it is poured into the vessel from the base of the pot. a long tube-like funnel allows fluid in, but unless you go below the stem of the funnel it will not come out, unless that is you pour it out of the spout!
