Royal Doulton Dickensian Teapot set featuring Old Charley

This is an exceedingly rare set, it features the Dickensian Character 'Old Charley' (The night-watchman) was introduced in 1939, just prior to WW2. it was not continued during the WW2 or post war so is a very  rare set indeed.

It is also the largest Doulton teapot.. there are two companion teapots in the range:

Sairey Gamp, and Sam Weller, all the same date and all exceedingly rare.
